Top 8 Oscars 2022 Red Carpet Looks

Whewwwww Chileeee! The Academy Awards red carpet was a parade of glitz and glam. The outfits were so high-fashion that it was an absolute task for us to choose our top 10 favorite looks! On the trend watch, there were a lot of cut-out dresses, sequins, and black and red dresses seemed to be the theme for many of the stars. Who were your favorites?

1. Zendaya

Zendaya is always a blessing to the red carpet. The marriage of silk and sequin was all the extra we needed and she slayed it effortlessly. Zendaya wore a signature Maison Valentino crop top and long skirt. Her classy updo and silver smokey eyes was a classic touch to this stunning number.

2. Ariana DeBose

Ariana DeBose. That’s it. That’s the caption! I meannnnnnn sis bodied this look. The cut-out jumpsuit, the exaggerated sleeved cape, the swarovski crystals…….Everything just worked perfectly together. It’s giving Monica in the 80’s, but better! She Killed it!!!

3. Meagan Thee Stallion

Cut-outs were definitely trending on the red carpet this year and we are here for it! Meagan wore a sparkly cut out dress with layers and beaded embellishments. She kept the accessories simple and let the dress make the statement. Did we mention she did her own makeup? Oh yes ma’am! Sis created her signature cut crease and shut down the red carpet in fine style.

4. Jessica Chastain

Gucci neverrrrrr looked so good! Like this dress is EVERYTHING!!! The ginger hair against the bronze sequin is a match made in heaven. Who knew lilac and bronze could look so good? Jessica Chastain has won our hearts yet again.

5. Regina Hall

Give it up for the host with the most! Every outfit she worn at the Oscar’s were stunning but her red carpet glam was still our favorite of the night. Regina wore a toffee-colored gown with exaggerated sheer sleeves. The chocolate brown just melted against her beautiful melanin skin. Black Girl Magic!

6. Tiffany Haddish

Tiffany Haddish looked amazing in her custom Dolce and Gabbana embellished strapless gown. The platinum blonde waves and peachy nude lips took this emerald green to whole new dimension.

7. Cynthia Erivo

Jason Bolden always does such a stellar job always on Cynthia Erivo every single time. This custom Louis Vuitton number is simple compared to her usual looks but still makes a bold statement. Who ever said a blazer top can’t be paired with a flowing belted skirt? Give it up for this Fashion Icon!

8. Jada Pinkett Smith

It takes oneeeee special lady to bring all that drama and y’all know exactly what we’re talking about…haha (you need to head over to black twitter for the tea!) Anywayyyy, Jada showed up on the red carpet looking like a total knockout in this emerald green number. The accessories were kept simple the makeup was classic Hollywood glam. Stunning!

All in all The Academy Awards 2022 was one for the books! The red carpet was filled with fun and fashion and we are inspired. Stay tuned for our top moments of the Grammy’s 2022 next!
